My Sacred Life Day 9

Adjustments. Today I am grateful for adjustments and the sacredness of change...that change can occur at any time. In an instant. Now. Or now. Or even now.

Today I had a chiropractic appointment, which of course aligned my spine. But my chiropractor, Dr. Suzan Kudick, always adjusts my attitude too, somehow---giving me a jolt of positivity and perspective on whatever is going on in my life at the time. I went in dragging, and came out, well...pretty happy. She always does this. She is one of those like-minded people I pay to see (see my post on Spiritual Loneliness), but who speaks the same spiritual language as I do and is a real treasure.

There must be 'something' about chiropracters - I was seeing mine three times a week at one stage and the best thing about it was my happy positive chiropracter and receptionist smiling at me and welcoming me when I walked in the door.

Wouldn’t it be good if we could bring those people we pay into our daily lives as friends? I started a walking group a month ago in conjunction with my naturopath. We only meet twice a month, but hopefully this will draw some more daily spiritual friends into my life!

Hey, Patti, Annie, and Kelly,

Thanks for commenting on this.

You know, I was thinking about what Annie said about inviting these paid people into our lives, and then I got a card spread today that was just about that very thing.

There are many creative avenues for connection, and maybe one of the many wonderful results of this group is that we will explore them and become more connected.
