Moss and Hoes

For those of you who live in the country, this may be of interest. Then again, if you live in the Pacific Northwest, you probably already know this. If you live in another part of the country, you're probably glad you don't live here :) Another step in our moss removal from our driveway yields...well...poor results :(

I'm loving the videos.
Highly enjoyable and I love getting to peek inside your life this way.

You're a poodle!!!!
I LOVE moss - so sorry you had to remove it from the driveway. I imagine it would make things pretty treacherous in the winter when you're in need of some friction on the tread.

Oh, it is treacherous, Eileen. I like how it looks too, but it's gotta go.

I do look like a poodle, don't I :)

Peace and love, O

O, at first, I feared you were giving an entirely new meaning to 'bad har day'! Next, I was afraid you might not even be aware of the impending attack by that raccoon. Fortunately, my fears were allayed later, when you had beaten back the attack and emerged from under that critter.

I can see that the moss gets its tendrils into the asphalt to the point that you have to do something about it! It's so different than the high desert where I live, where coaxing anything to survive the summer is always our goal.

With your quarter-mile-or-more of driveway, you could use the hula hoe as your workout regime for the rest of your life: by the time you get to the end of the driveway, it will be time to start again at the beginning.

(it's such a good thing that you are an upbeat person, Olivia, 'cause that last paragraph could be interpreted as depressing)

ROTFL, Rick! This hoes and moss project has been quite a learning experience. I'll be posting something in the next few days. Peace, O
