Sacred Life Sunday: Gratitude Dance

For Sacred Life Sunday, I'm going to do the Gratitude Dance, because I have so much to be grateful for. Here is an original video about the Gratitude Dance from Dr. Mercola. It is 3:20 long:

LoveHubbie and I made a special video of us middle-aged folks valiantly attempting the Gratitude Dance, too. We keep getting slower the more we do it; still, I am grateful to be able to do it at all! It is 43 seconds long:

You're the coolest, Olivia and Love Hubbie comes in a close second. That looks like fun. Think I'll go give it a try.

You guys are the bravest people I've ever not met. Thank you for reminding me to be grateful.

I watched the video the other day and had to laugh. I am not gutsy enough to make a video of myself doing this. You are fearless...

You know, this reminds me a bit of Snoopy's Happy Dance.

You and you husband did a marvelous job, Olivia! CLearly, two naturals at gratitude dancing.

What's really funny is that I have no sound right now...so I'm just watching the video part and I think that probably makes it even funnier. I was glad to see the snipet from Botswana...good news from home.

You didn't miss much on this one, Janet. The longer video had a nice tune, but it didn't add to the content, and my video just had "Funkytown" playing in the background :) Peace, O

Thank you for the reminder of gratefullness! I do keep a journal of things I am grateful for, though have not written in it much lately. My entrance in my journal tonight will be:
I am grateful for finding Olivia's blog and learning how to do the gratitude dance!

Oh Olivia, you and LoveHubby get gold stars for your gratitude dancing...do you know just how many people you've made laugh today? I so appreciate your ability to be open and spontaneous. THANKS!!

PS...this reminded me of Matt of Where The Hell is Matt? If you haven't seen it..check it out! He happy danced his way around the world!http://www.wherethehellismatt.com/

Thank you, Kate :) Ha, ha, you're welcome.

You know I checked out Matt's site, and you are right! In fact, I think that it is actually Matt in the Gratitude Dance video. I can't be totally sure, but it seems like the same guy and the same dance to me. What an interesting site; I'd never heard of it. What an interesting person, too!

The Internet is truly something, isn't it? If you'd have told me two months ago that I'd be making videos of me and LoveHubbie and putting them on the Internet, I'd never have believed it!

Thanks, Kate,

Blessings and love,

O

I love this Gratitude Dance and have bookmarked it so I can find it easily and dance with others when I don't wish to dance alone. Methinks I'll add this link at Sacred Ruminations when I do my 16th Sacred Life post so others can join in.

Thanks to YOU for sharing Olivia ... and to Annie who taught me about Google Reader this morning, which led me to this post today. I might have missed it entirely and I'm glad I didn't.
Hugs and blessings,
