Here, on OTV, is a series of short videos I made on my walk today, loosely tied together with a theme of anger. They total just over 5 and a half minutes in length.
Here are the links I refer to in my videos:
Kikipotamus the Hobo on blog synchronicity and anger
Lori-Lyn's post with the YouTube interview of Ram Dass and Thich Nhat Hanh
Lil with a prayer to the Goddess about anger
Also there is a quick picture of me expressing some anger with a masque on (really quick)--just for effect. And some phenomenal up close shots of deer I encountered in my driveway. Nature shots. Musings.
The first video is 1:08:
The second video is 1:06:
The third video is 2:32:
The last video is 51 seconds:

Oh Olivia,
I am in awe of where you live. I could watch whole videos of the deer and the squirrels and the forest. So so beautiful.
So sorry to hear about your date. I didn't get to see all of that video. If you need to talk about it with a friend, you know I am always here for you at the end of an email.
Much love,
Annie

Thanks, Annie. I love to be able to share the forest with you.
I think you couldn't see the date video because it was the longest. I thought maybe that problem was better, but it's good to know that it isn't---I'll keep 'em shorter, Annie!
Thank you for your support and friendship, Much love back to you, O
Your property is magical Olivia, I loved watching the deer and squirrels and seeing those beautiful trees.
The Ram Dass interview with Thicht Nhat Hanh is certainly helping a lot of people. He said to hold anger like a mother holds a baby, reminding us to be gentle and breathe. I was practicing this yesterday and it really helped me to realise I could be destructive to myself and others or contribute to a gentle wholeness in myself and the universe. The trick is getting to the breath before lightening quick anger does!

Yes, Patti, that's it exactly. We have a choice if we remember we do. Amen! Joy and aliveness, O
Thanks for sharing about your anger, Olivia. I can't stand it when I act out. It usually stems from my inability to control a person or situation. When I check in with my Higher Power FIRST, and not allow the ugliness to come spewing forth in the moment, it is such a good thing. I try to head off to a quiet place - a lot like Time Out! Granted, if I did this every single time, I would be on the fast track toward PERFECTION, which we know, I am SO NOT!
Since there has been so much construction in the area, the wildlife is out in the open, seeking shelter. Pretty sad stuff. Right where I live is very woodsie and peaceful, so it's a happy place for the creatures.
OK, you're my hero - doing the mask thing on video!!!
Thanks, Eileen! You're right about the construction, and of course, the anger.
Breathe and seek connection with Spirit---if we can remember these two things.
Now that I did the masque thing no one has an excuse to be shy :)
XXOO,
O
