Blogger is Back...Do You Still Read My Blog?

So Blogger is now back and I'm a lucky girl because I save my comments! Thus I was able to repost them today. So I've recovered everything. But, if you didn't read my important post from Sharing the Joy Thursday or you did read it but didn't get to comment because of the Blogger outage, please do. I think sharing the joy on Friday will work just as well :)

Also, if you didn't have time to watch the Anita Roberts video, please do. It's so affirming and you will not regret the time spent. It's a video every woman and girl should watch. Really.

So if you were here, let me know, ok? Even just to tell me you were here.

I'm posting more and wondering if you're reading? Are you still there?

PS. Do check your blog, as I just discovered that Blogger destroyed my comments from my previous post on the Anita Roberts video and I had to also reconstruct those comments. This was especially important to me as Anita Roberts herself had commented on it!

What a stressful 24 hours it has been! Thankfully this doesn't happen often with Blogger. I was lucky, everything seems to be safe and sound. Nice to be back to connecting!

I'm still here O. I lost my last post and it has since been restored. I'm still missing some comments. Blogger Buzz says they'll be back up soon, so I'll wait and see.

Hi, Suzie, My goodness, it's good to see you here and I had no idea you read my blog! It was weird with Blogger being down and it ATE OUR COMMENTS! You full-time blogging folks have it the worst, I know. Thank you, my dear, for commenting and letting me know you read!! xoO

Olivia said...

Oh well, YOU, Patti, of course! I KNOW that you're here because you are such a faithful commenter and great support for me! Thank you for being that for me, my dear :) xoO

Oh man!!!...I just left you a really, really long comment and lost it when I tried to publish it!!! Anyway, the short version of it was that YES, I'm here and reading. I find with the Open ID thing I often leave a message that then disapears into the ethers. One of the drawbacks of using Typepad!

Bless you for all the wonderful comments you leave...you're always so thoughtful. OK, I'm saving this before I hit publish this times!

Oh yes, I'm here.

Happy, happy Friday dear Olivia!
I'm still here and I do peek in on you. I've been in a funk the last couple of weeks (I think my son getting ready to graduate on June 4th has me wondering about his future, my age, etc. or maybe me turning 55 on June 1st) I think I'm just feeling old (that's really never happened to me before).

Anyway.. I will check out Share the Joy Thursday.

Hi, kate, so good to see you here. I'm sorry you lost that comment. All of us Blogger folks lost our comments that had already posted on several days of recent posts, too. Anyway, thank you for your support here. I enjoy so much how I am getting to know you better via your blog lately, kate. xoO

Hi, Kelly,

I'm glad you're here, my dear. Thank you for letting me know. Peace and love to you, xoO

EB, I'm glad you're still here and sorry that you are in a funk. I'm sure the upcoming life changes will bring challenges and many good things as well. I too am facing the mental adjustments with aging. You know, I still do see you as 32 :) Anyway, I hope you feel better health-wise too...Thanks, EB xoO

Much better healthwise. My numbers are still slightly skewed...but heading the right way.

Maybe I'm just finally growing up and realizing I need to get off the pot and do something.

And thank you, thank you, thank you for seeing me as 32. I love that!!!

Do you love your kindle? I've asked for a kindle for my birthday and just want to be sure I'll use it and not resort to buying actual books.

Thank you Cinner, Rebecca, and Kristine!

Obviously I was wondering if anyone was still reading my blog, and now I see that way more people than I thought did. So this is encouraging to me, and helps me to see that the posts aren't just lying fallow and unread and lost on the Internet.

Everyone is busy and LoveHubbie doesn't even read it anymore, so I was starting to think I should perhaps give it a rest, and just comment on other people's blogs. But the response here has helped me to see that far more people come here than I thought, so that I'll keep going.

Thank you, xoO

EB, Yes, I love my Kindle, so much. I use it for traveling, or even just going to the doctor's office, reading more than one book at a time, getting a book fast, most fiction, certain non-fiction that I don't want to underline and highlight extensively. Basically anything that I won't constantly be referring back to. I love it!

I still do buy hardcopy books, just not as many, which is also very helpful. I don't have enough space to store, sort, and then re-find them all.

However, I bought the cheapest Kindle I could at the time--without 3G. Now I would spend the $50 extra for 3G.

I have a Kindle 1 (which LoveHubbie is using and loves) and a Kindle 3. The support for Kindles is good too, even better than regular Amazon support.

There is a place for FREE Kindle books. If you get a Kindle for your birthday, I'll do a post on that. They are not ALL classics--many are brand new books!

Love to you, EB!

I'm still here but I don't get to everyone everyday. I don't think I left any comments when Blogger was glitchy though.
I saw your fabulous pink wig on FB! Neat!

Wow, so sorry to hear LH was in the hospital. Really glad he is doing well now though!!

I'm glad, Mary Catherine. Thanks for letting me know. I see you on FB of course, but I just was wondering about my blog. Guess I'll keep blogging for now :) xoO

it is heart warming...yes, affirming, these messages of support we leave for each other in the world of blogging.

Good morning Rebecca...you're welcome...and may I say ditto. You know, in my real life I find myself supporting others so much of the time...but it is here, online in the world of blogging, that I find my support, affirmation, validation that truly makes a difference in my life. I don't know where I would be without it. Thank you so much Rebecca, xoO
