A Thought

"No one on their deathbed ever wished they had spent more time on the computer."---Katie Goodman

Funny that twice today I am reminded of a friend's husband. Another bloggers post earlier was about silly emails and how he dislikes them. I had commented that our friends only got their computer a couple years ago and mainly because the man is very sick with cancer and has very little to keep him occupied during many long hours unable to sleep or find much comfort. So he actually wanted his few email contacts to send him all the jokes, cartoons, stories, etc. we had.

He really is on his deathbed, having been sick for many many years but he is thankful for having his computer time. :)

I hope you are doing okay. I've wanted to comment at times, but like you said in another post, sometimes you don't know what to say. I have been thru some situations involving depression and medication, maybe not to the extent you have but just enough I guess to understand a little bit.

Good wishes. Mary

I wonder what will happen when, years from now, we discover that The Network has become what we used to refer to as "God".

In this specific instance, we may have to reverse this perfectly logical statement, then, as spending time on one's computer will become akin to worship!

(O, you know I have to toss a monkey wrench into the works every once in awhile!)
