After having gastroenteritis for a week, I now have that virus-thing that's going around with the dry cough, sore throat, moving to painful lungs and hacking, then continuing on to basic flu-like symptoms. I needed a laugh. Here is something from Ellen DeGeneres that is short but hopefully will make you smile too:

I love Ellen.. she makes me laugh. I hope you get to feeling better soon. I'll tell you that this hacking is still going on and it's been about 5 weeks for me. I'll be glad when it's over. I swear I need to buy stock in Kleenix. My entire family blows, blows, blows.

I've had a sinus thing on and off since the holidays. The herniated discs in my back are flaring lately. I had a sore throat for a few days last week. And my tummy has been wiggy on top of all that. Yeah, I'll take as many laughs as I can get too.

EB, I hope you feel better too. They call that long-lasting cough the "hundred day cough" here---yuck! I'm waiting for my energy to return. I hope for the same for you; can't imagine having to work with this. And of course, for your whole family, too. Well wishes and love, xoO

Yes, something is going around. I keep washing my hands and praying I don't get it. I hope you feel better very soon! That sucks to get sick again on the tail end of the gastroenteritis.
I hope you don't get it either, Kelly. It does to have both back to back and then I say to myself that at least I'm getting it all out of the way. Today my chiropractor asked me, "Why are you needing to get sick?" It's a provocative and important question, I think. Love to you, Kelly, xoO
