Sacred Life Sunday: Kikipotamus the Hobo's Visit Winds Up...And She Leaves the happyluau

Finally, just over a week since Kelly left, and I'm finally putting up the few photos I took. I also made a rather silly movie for OTV, but it was representative of the entire visit in that we were having fun doing ordinary things.

The pictures below are of the day Kelly made a special meal for me and LoveHubbie. There are many special memories of that day, including the love and concentration with which Kelly did all of the time-intensive preparations, the lessons I learned about keeping the energy good in my home, and the memories of a lovely meal and great conversation. LoveHubbie used his extensive barbecuing skills to grill our grass-fed steaks and added a special layer of happiness to the evening.

Here is the movie, which is 4:18 long:

This winds up my blogging about Kelly's visit. However, I want to blog a series next about lessons I learned while Kelly was here. Many of them are things we both learned about mindful eating and I'm excited to share them with you. I'm hoping that we can even practice some of them together--those of you who are interested--more about that soon.

So nice for you both to spend time learning and sharing with kindred spirits. I can see in the photographs just how much it meant to you both. The peppers look delicious!

Thanks, Kim. I know that you gather with family and friends a lot and so you know how wonderful it can be; it's pretty rare for me and all I did enjoy the peacefulness and fun! xoO

Thank you, kate, yes the peppers were absolutely delicious. They were made in a base of kale and so were really nutritious too. I would never have thought that fresh kale could have been used in that way...they also were exceptionally high in Vitamin C.

"Kindred spirits"--I love your choice of these words, and yes, that's what it was :) xoO

Yipee... I miss "O" TV... and glad to see you and Kelly. The stuffed peppers look amazing.... and hey... love your hair... it's getting long and I really like the color.

Off to watch Oprah's meditation city in Iowa thingy.

Thanks, EB...I keep trying to get my stylist Stephanie to go more blond but she is adamant and I trust her. Plus I look at those videos of me with platinum blond hair and cringe. Love it, just don't look very good with it! Did you know that in the back it is very short, right up to the hairline? I really like this cut.

I am recording that Oprah in Iowa thingy and will watch it also.

Love to you, EB, xoO

I enjoy 'O' t.v! That's one of the first things I remember from your blog.
Happy photos! It must have been such a nice treat to spend time with your friend. And what a healthy and colorful dish she prepared. I'm sure LoveHubbie's steaks were delish too.

Really glad you enjoyed yourselves!

Patti, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Kelly was in my nook area (where I spent much of my day) and noticed your painting and recognized your work. I thought how amazing it was that we all know each other in different ways...we forget about all of the connections. Thanks, Patti, xoO

Thanks, Mary. Yes, the steaks were out of this world! I"m so glad you like OTV. I do enjoy making the videos. Mostly they are entertaining for me looking back at some of those crazy hairstyles and colors I've had over the years :) Peace and love, xoO
